Deluxe System 12.5s, Peterson-Lip
The 12.5s Deluxe System is a light, small sized bent billiard also known as the ‘221’ shape among other pipe series. The natural golden hue accentuates the quality of the briar which is hand selected to specific standards. As with all Deluxe System pipes, the system functionality is contained within the inner briar. A black acrylic Peterson-Lip mouthpiece, containing an inner metal ‘condenser’ serves to provide a cooler smoking experience. A neat sterling silver band has been custom fitted to this pipe.
A growler is the perfect gift for the dad who loves craft beer and wants to transport his choice brews from the draft to his house. Standard growlers, though, let in air upon opening, which can spoil your beer and cause it to turn flat. GrowlerWerks 64oz. copper-plated uKeg ($169) keeps beer fresh for longer via its patented CO2 regulator cap. The cap automatically sets pressure to optimally carbonate your beer and can be adjusted based on the style of brew. The stainless-steel uKeg also features a vacuum-insulated double wall to keep your beer cool. - www.growlerwerks.com
Some of us fondly remember the days when writing a letter or story involved putting a piece of onion skin into a typewriter, clacking away on keys designed to take a beating. The Retro Classic Keyboard from Azio brings back the feel of the old days with this visually stunning and audibly satisfying keyboard. Heavier and larger than modern-day plastic keyboards, the Azio (which works on a PC or Mac) is made from zinc alloy with leather accents. Rounded, mechanical keys deliver a pleasant clicky sound as you type. Despite the old-fashioned look, the keyboard offers many modern amenities: it’s backlit, the height is adjustable and it has all the keys one would expect to operate a computer. We prefer the look of the Elwood style, with walnut wood and gunmetal matte frame, which costs $189 for the USB version, or $210 for the Bluetooth option.
